WORK ORDER02/ PROBLEM

The local-trades website market is broken four ways.

Same story whether you've got years of reviews or you just hung your sign.

01

Six-week agency timelines

Custom agencies quote six-plus weeks, bury you in revision cycles, and hand over vague proposals. Your customers can't wait that long.

02

Five-thousand-dollar builds

Traditional shops price out local trades. You shouldn't need a loan to get a credible website for your business.

03

DIY builders steal your weekends

Wix and Squarespace turn busy contractors into amateur web designers, and the result looks generic, slow, and forgettable.

04

No way out without losing your site

Wix, most agencies, and the DIY builders hold your site hostage. Stop paying, or try to leave, and the site doesn't come with you. You start over from zero.

WORK ORDER03/ COMPLETED

Finished work. All live right now.

Eight of the twenty-seven sites we've shipped. Every one is a real Connecticut shop with a URL you can open. Click any card.

WORK ORDER04/ METHOD

Why no two of them look the same.

The failure mode of site builders is that every site looks like the same template with different colors. We didn't want that, so the build picks its visual direction from the trade. Three directions, picked on purpose.

A roofer does not see what a plumber sees. Same engine, different result, on purpose.

Editorial

Roofing · Legal · Landscaping · Homecare

Serif type, asymmetric layout, earth tones, one accent. Reads like an architecture magazine. Sharp corners, nothing generic and rounded.

Industrial

Plumbing · HVAC · Electrical · Auto

Big condensed type, monospace for data, visible grid lines, hard edges. Navy and white with safety amber or red. Looks urgent because the work is.

Modern

Barber · Salon · Boutiques · Detailing

Geometric type, overlapping cards, motion. Sleeker and less heavy. For trades where the room itself is the brand.

WORK ORDER06/ NOTES

Things people ask.

If your question isn't here, put it in the form below with your trade and town.

Do I own the site?
+
On the 997 buyout, yes. The code, the repo, and the domain move to you. On the monthly plan, we host it and you can buy out whenever. Either way you're not locked in.
What if I already have a website?
+
Then you'll see a finished replacement next to what you've got. Most sites we replace are slow, not mobile, or look like a 2014 template. You decide if it's an upgrade.
How fast can it go live?
+
On the buyout, the site you already saw moves to your domain the same day. On monthly, we keep it on the preview link and move it to your domain when you're ready.
What's in the monthly plan?
+
Hosting, daily backups, speed and security upkeep, your tap-to-call and lead form, and two to four local SEO and AEO posts a month. SEO gets you found on Google; AEO gets you cited in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and the other answer engines. The posts actually read like they're about your trade and your town. Cancel whenever.
Can I use my own domain?
+
Yes. On the buyout we connect your .com. On monthly we point your domain at our hosting. If you don't have one yet, we'll help you register one.
What trades and areas do you serve?
+
Connecticut local businesses. Roofers, plumbers, HVAC, electricians, auto and auto body, barbers, salons, landscaping, homecare, and the rest. Hartford, New Haven, Fairfield counties. Years of reviews, no reviews, or a brand-new business. If your site is missing or bad, you're who we're looking for.
Why is this cheaper than an agency?
+
Because the build is already done. There's no six-week timeline and no five-thousand-dollar agency overhead. You're paying for a finished thing, not a promise of future work.
